Nadia Khan

Dr. Nadia Khan is a General Surgeon at Michael Garron Hospital with a practice focused on Acute Care and Minimally Invasive Surgery. She completed her medical degree at Western University, General Surgery residency at the University of Ottawa, and fellowship training in Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Since joining Michael Garron Hospital in 2024, Dr. Khan has served as the Lead of the Acute Care Surgery (ACS) Program, where she has overseen the rapid expansion of services to enhance timely access to urgent surgical care. She also serves as Division Head of the Surgical Assist Division, leading initiatives to strengthen perioperative support and optimize surgical services across the department.

Dr. Khan has a strong interest in clinical education, leadership and surgical program development. As a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto, Dr. Khan is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education and is committed to mentoring the next generation of surgeons while advancing innovative, patient-centred models of surgical care. Her academic interests include acute care surgery, minimally invasive and bariatric surgery, surgical education, leadership and health systems improvement.
