Dr Fecteau joined the Hospital for Sick Children in 1998 a pediatric general and thoracic surgeon. Dr Fecteau trained at McGill University both in general and pediatric surgery before completing further fellowships in liver transplantation in Cincinnati and in hepatobiliary surgery at Paul Brousse Hospital in Paris. Dr Fecteau also obtained a Masters degree in Boiethics at the University of Toronto.
Dr Fecteau has an interest in hepatobiliary surgery and chest wall deformities. Her clinical research interests are in ethics issues related to pediatric surgery and in patient safety and quality of care. Dr Fecteau is the hospital Surgical Champion for the NSQIP pediatric program.
