Dr. Danielle Bischof appointed as Interim Chair, Division of General Surgery, University of Toronto
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Danielle Bischof will officially take on the role of Interim Chair, Division of General Surgery at the University of Toronto as of today.
Dr. Bischof is a surgical oncologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital and an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Bischof completed both medical school and general surgery residency at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete a clinical fellowship in surgical oncology at Johns Hopkins and earn a Masters in Health Sciences degree in clinical investigation at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Danielle co-leads our Department's Practice Plan Renewal Working Group.
I am very grateful to Dr. Bischof for taking on this important role. I hope you will join me in working collaboratively with Dr. Bischof as she leads the University Division of General Surgery over the coming academic year.
