Dr. Brian Goldman is a Canadian emergency medicine physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, as well as a bestselling author, public speaker, and broadcast journalist. His books include The Night Shift (2010); The Secret Language of Doctors (2014), The Power of Kindness (2018), The Power of Teamwork (2022), and most recently, The Casino Shift (2026). Goldman hosts a radio series "White Coat, Black Art" on CBC Radio One and an original podcast "The Dose"; both explore the culture and challenges of modern medicine, particularly within Canada’s healthcare system.
