Nir Lipsman appointed Neurosurgeon at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Nir Lipsman has been appointed Neurosurgeon at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery.
He obtained his MD in 2007 from Queen’s University prior to joining the Toronto residency program. He completed his PhD with Dr. Andres
Lozano at the University of Toronto in 2013. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2016 and
completed a clinical fellowship with our Division in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery in the same year. He is also appointed as
Scientist, Physical Sciences in the Hurvitz Brain Sciences Research Program at the Sunnybrook Institute.
